Sports For All Activities

Athletics is the mother of all sports. To sprint, jump, throw and run turn athletics into the most multi-purpose sport.

The FBK-Games is part of the IAAF World Challenge and is the number one athletic event in The Netherlands. But the FBK-Games are more! The foundation of the FBK-Games also organizes many sports for all activities.

The aim of the sports for all activities is to inspire people to move. Whether you are young or old, a true competitor or a participant, the fact is that enough exercise helps lead to a healthy lifestyle. As the foundation of the FBK-Games we find it important that people can meet in a sport-loving and friendly environment. Throughout the different events we organize we try to connect people with the beautiful sport of athletics.

During the FBK-Catalpa Children’s Games
over a 100 infants visit the FBK-Stadium.

An aware choice has been made to organize an activity for the smallest children. The Catalpa Children’s Games give infants the opportunity to come and enjoy fun athletic games in the FBK-Stadium.

The FBK-Double Mile Run is also one of the events we organize. The run begins at the Fanny Blankers-Koen stadium and finishes at the market square in Hengelo. On the Thursday prior to the FBK-Games up to 1000 people come and enjoy this double mile run.
